Now in his third season in F1, that Sutil is still best known as Lewis Hamilton's best mate is telling. There's a feeling in the paddock that he is solid, rather than spectacular, but if the car genuinely is a points contender he has the chance to convince the doubters that he has more to offer.

Sutil was terribly unlucky not to bag a decent haul of points at Monaco last year, getting taken out by Kimi Raikkonen so close to home, and he will need some similar performances like that in 2009 if he is not to face pressure from other drivers for his race seat.
