Toro Rosso's third Seb in two seasons, this affable Swiss driver has a tough job stepping into Sebastian Vettel's shoes. The team has done all it can to try and get him as well prepared as he can be for the year - which is why he did endless mileage over the winter in a 2008 hybrid.

He has arrived in F1 without much hype and fanfare, although team insiders reckon that he is every bit as naturally talented as Vettel. However, Buemi needs to prove that he can match his predecessor's intelligence and application.
